How to choose activities that suit children and what to ask before booking.

Use the "Suitable for children" filter
In the tour list you can filter for activities confirmed as suitable for children and by the age of the youngest participant. An activity without that information does not show with the filter — we would rather not assume.
Calm beaches
According to the official tourism site, the western end of Playa Bonita is as calm as a pool and draws families, while the eastern side is rougher. Always keep an eye on children in the water — conditions change from day to day.
Child prices
We only show a child price if the provider publishes it, with its age range. If it is unknown, the total for your group shows as "on request" and we confirm it with you.
At sea and on the trail
- Ask for child-size life jackets on any boat trip.
- The route to El Limón waterfall is about 2.5 km and needs good fitness; some ranches offer the trip on horseback — ask about the minimum age.
- Plan rest days between two long trips.
