Playa Frontón is reached by boat from Las Galeras or by a longer hike, and is a popular tour stop.

Its fine white sand lies at the foot of a 90 m (300 ft) metamorphic rock cliff; the beach is popular for rock climbing and snorkeling.

The trail to Playa Frontón is about 5 km long, mostly dirt with some rocky sections; it is considered easy and flat, running along the sea among coconut palms, but good physical condition is advised.
